An unforgettable evening

On the 12th of November, the Silbon family had the privilege of living a truly magical night. The objective was to raise money for charity, but we had so much fun in the process! Firstly, and before going into detail, we would like to thank the public for packing out the incomparable setting where the event took place: The Royal Stables of Cordova.

The event lasted all evening and well into the night; the public began lining up to get in long before 6pm. Everyone passed through the official photo call to fill up their seats and, after a thank you speech from one of the founding partners and CEO of Silbon, Pablo López, the show began exactly on time with a performance by the prestigious Cordovan violinist Paco Montalvo, who enchanted everyone with a show full of songs from his album “Alma de Violín Flamenco”. He had the audience right in his (Silbon jacket) pocket with some masterpieces from the great Paco de Lucía, he reinterpreted the well-known “Lagrimas Negras” to ecstatic applause, and he closed the act with his version of “My Way”, a very special flamenco take on the classic song that was met with a standing ovation.

It was beautiful to see all the seats occupied, not forgetting, of course, that we achieved our main objective of the night: to raise funds for the Josep Carreras Association and their fight against leukaemia.

The Silbon AW 16/17 fashion show has started.

The fashion show: Another moment to remember

A tour of the three aspects of this collection: Casual Wear, The City and Tailoring shown in thirty-two looks that also made the staff rise from their chairs.

Next, it was time to share impressions and among greetings, photos and talks, arrived the wonderful catering of El Capricho, which made the delights of all, and helped a lot to extend the lively atmosphere until well into the night. Time to continue collaborating with the cause and through a “solidarity bar” finish the magnificent party with many friends enjoying what was left at night.

From here we cannot fail to thank all the collaborators. Above all, to the Social Work La Caixa and especially to Eva Mesa. Thanks also to Gonzalo García-Ibarrola, our DJ and in charge of making people enjoy with the best music, to Falete San Miguel, who always gets that the catering is one of the strengths of his events, to Paco Montalvo, for lending himself for such a beautiful cause and giving us his art and talent, to the whole family Silbon that puts every day its grain of sand so that the signature of the rackets continues to grow and of course, to all of you for always being there and responding when needed. See you next time!
